Chocolate Raspberry Muffins

Ingredients
1 c. fresh raspberries1 c. whole wheat flour1 c. all purpose flour3/4 c. sugar1 tbs baking powder1/4 tsp salt2 eggs lightly beaten1/2 c. 2% milk1/3 c. canola oil1 6 oz carton fat free plain yogurt1 c. semisweet or dark chocolate chips1/8 c. chopped pecans
Directions
Preheat 400F. Lightly coat 18 small muffin cups with nonstick spray or use muffin liners. Wash and drain berrries.

In a large bowl combine flours, sugar, powder and salt. Make a well in center and set aside.

In another bowl combine eggs, milk, oil and yogurt. Add egg mixture all at once to flour mixture. Stir just until moistened but lumpy. Fold in raspberries chocolate. Spoon batter into muffin cups about 3/4 full. Sprinkle with pecans if desired.

Bake 18-20 min or until golden and toothpick comes out clean. Cool on wire rack.

    These were very easy to make and were delicious. I used apple sauce instead of oil and they are great! Made some with pecans and some without. Whole family loves them! - 8/1/08
