Broccoli, Cauliflower & Ham Casserole

Ingredients
1 spear (about 5" long) Broccoli, fresh 1 head, small (4" dia) Cauliflower, raw .3 cup, pieces or slices Mushrooms, fresh .5 small Onions, raw 8 oz Smithfield Anytime Favorites Diced Ham (by JKGIRLIE82) 0.5 cup Kraft Finely Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese 4 serving Egg whole - medium per egg .5 cup, fluid (yields 2 cups whip Heavy Whipping Cream .25 cup Half and Half Cream 1 tsp Pepper, black 1 tsp Nutmeg, ground 3 tbsp Butter, salted
Directions
Steam broccoli & cauliflower. While steaming them, saute sliced mushrooms & diced onion in a tablespoon of butter.Put mushroom & onion mix into a large bowl. When cauliflower & broccoli is soft, drain & add to the mushroom mix. Butter the casserole pan. Add diced ham to the casserole. Beat together the eggs & creams. Mix the vegetables & add the pepper to them. When mixed, put into the casserole atop the ham. Top with 1/2 of the cheese, pour egg mixture evenly over the mixture. Top with remaining cheese & sprinkle the nutmeg over all. Bake at 400 F for 30 minutes or until the eggs are solidified & serve.

Serving Size: Makes 8 serving squares in a 9x11 casserole (appx 4" x 3")
