Roasted Ground Beef

Ingredients
16 oz Beef, ground, 80% lean meat / 20% fat, patty, cooked, broiled [hamburger, ground round] 0.25 cup Prego Tomato Basil Garlic Tomato Sauce 1 tbsp Pesto - Alessi brand (by HUSKERJAY) 1 serving Garlic - minced (1 tsp) (by ELLERCADE) 1 fl oz Red Wine 2 1tsp Olive Oil 0.5 tsp Salt .05 tsp Pepper, black
Directions
Mix first five ingredients in a mixing bowl, kneed until fully blended. Set oven to 400 degrees and place a cast iron skillet with oiled bottom in oven during preheat (may substitute bacon grease or butter for the olive oil). Separate meat mixture into 4 equal size patties and place into heated skillet, allow to roast 5 to 9 minutes, flip patties then allow to roast an additional 5 to 9 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to rest 10 minutes before serving. Salt and pepper may be added within mixture before roasting, or after roasting is completed and when served. Five minute roasting per side will result in Rare, 9 minute roasting per side will result in Well Done. Six minutes Medium Rare, 7 minutes Medium, 8 minutes Medium Well.
