Red lentil detox soup

Ingredients
1.5 cup, chopped Carrots, raw0.25 cup slices (1" dia) Ginger Root2.0 cup, chopped Onions, raw2.0 serving sweet potatoes ( great value organic)0.75 cup red lentils (HT organics)6.0 cup college inn bone broth (chicken)
Directions
2c onions 1.5c carrots 2c sweet potatoes 1/4c fresh ginger 3/4c red lentils 6c bone broth (I used college Inn chicken bone broth) 1/2 tsp cumin 1/2 tsp chili powder 1/2 tsp paprika (I used smoked) 1/2 tsp black peper Salt to taste ( I didnt add any bc the broth has enough in it) Garlic to taste Put everything except lentils, spices and broth in a pot, saute until onions are translucent. Then add lentils, spices and broth, bring to boil then lower to simmer until veggies are tender. Blend 2 cups of soup to make it creamy (optional but highly recommended). You can replace bone broth with whatever both you like, veggie broth is yummy to make it vegan/vegetarian. Enjoy! Serving Size: 1.5 cups
