Banana (preferably frozen)StrawberriesOrangeGrapefruitPineappleKaleParsleyCucumberGinger RootOrange JuiceCarrotsRaw Nuts: 2 Brazil Nuts & a few Pumpkin SeedsWater Ice Cubes
Blend all ingredients quickly in a Vita-Mixer (1 min) or a blender (until smooth) for a thick, delicious & nutritious smoothie.
Options:
Omit:
Coconut Milk (makes it creamier)
Nuts to reduce calories (Benefits: Selenium & Zinc).
Ginger Root
Reduce or Eliminate whatever you dislike.....use your intuition & discretion.....the recipe is difficult to ruin!
Add:
Blueberries
Peach, Nectarine
Frozen Cranberries (Buy in the Winter & freeze for year round use)
More Water if you like it less thick.
Yields 2-3 servings.
