Kashi Krispie treats

3 env. unflavored gelatin6 T granular Splenda3 egg whites2 tsp. vanilla extract1/4 cup cold water3/4 cup boiling water1 tsp marshmallow or caramel flavoring (optional)6 C. Kashi Golean cereal
Sprinkle gelatin into cold water and let sit 5 min. , in a saucepan,to soften. Add boiling water. Stir until fully disolved. Cool until syrupy. Stir in Splenda, vanilla, and flavoring (if using) Beat egg whites until fluffy white peaks form. Slowly blend gelatin into egg mixture, beating until everything is mixed. Add Kashi. Press into large rectangular pan or cookie sheet. Let set in refrigerator for 15 minutes. Cut into 18 2" squares
