Mix and place in Container A (2 cup)1.5 cup Steel Cut Oats, dry 8 tbsp Flax Seed - Hodgson Mill Milled Flax Seed Mix and place in Container B (4 cup)1.5 cup Quaker Oats Old-Fashioned Rolled Oats 1 cup Apples, dried 12 tbsp Almonds - sliced 0.75 cup Dried Cherries
In small saucepan, bring 1 cup water to boil.
Stir in ¼ cup of mix A
Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 15 minutes, stirring frequently.
After 15 minutes,
Add 1 cup water and return to boil
Stir in ½ cup of mix B
Reduce heat and simmer for an additional 10 minutes, stirring frequently.
Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly to let grains and fruit plump.
Add 1/8 tsp vanilla or small amount vanilla almond milk to taste.
Serving Size: Makes 8 2-cup servings
