Mom Scott's Homemade Cranberry sauce

Ingredients
1/4 tsp Allspice1/8 tsp Cloves, ground1/4 tsp Ginger, ground4 cup, whole Cranberries1 Tbsp. Orange Juice1 Tbsp Orange Peel2 cup (8 fl oz) Water, tap2 cup Granulated Sugar
Directions
Wash cranberries. Remove any stems or blemished berries. Heat the water and sugar in a medium saucepan until boiling, stirring occasionally. Add the cranberries and orange peel. Heat to boiling. Boil about 5 minutes or until cranberries pop. Make sure to let the cranberries pop so they release the pectin which helps the cranberry sauce thicken! Add orange juice and spices anytime. You can add a pinch more cloves if desired to taste. Let cool. Cover and refrigerate. Serving Size: Makes 16 --1/8th cup servings
