1 cup, chopped Carrots, raw 1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions, raw, chopped 1 clove Garlic, minced1 cup dry Lentils 2 cup, chopped Tomatoes1 bay leaf1 tsp salt1 tsp dried thyme 1/4 tsp pepper1 Tbsp dried parsley 5 cups water
Put it all in a pot, bring to a boil and simmer for 45 minutes.
