Almond butter

Ingredients
20 oz Almonds, blanched and slivered (4 to 5 cups)2 tbsp oil (I like a nut oil, but you an use light olive oil or safflower oil)
Directions
Preheat oven to 250 (or 225 if your oven cooks hot). Place almonds on a cookie sheet lined with parchment. Bake for about an hour until tanned or light brown. Let cool for at least 30 minutes.

Process almonds to crumbs in a food processor or vita mix. May have todo this in 2 batches. Drizzle in oil and continue to blend, scraping downsides of container with spatula as needed. Store in the fridge.
