Beef, round steak, 1 lb Onions, raw, 1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Mushrooms, fresh, 2 cup, pieces or slices Canola Oil, 2 tbsp Water, tap, 4 cup (8 fl oz) Salt, .5 tspPepper, black, .25 tsp
Put oil in dutch oven, add beef, onion and mushrooms cook until beef is browned on all sides and onions and mushrooms are tender, about 10 minutes. Add water and simmer 45-50 minutes. Serve over rice. Makes about 6 servings.
