Korean Beef Dumplings (Mandu or Mandoo)

Ingredients
12 oz. (3/4 lb.) 90% Lean Ground Beef1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions, raw 1 cup, chopped Cabbage, fresh 0.5 cup Tofu, firm .5 cup soaked Bean Thread noodles (sai fun) 1/2 pkg makes 1 cup3 cloves garlic, chopped.5 tbsp toasted Sesame Seed Oil 2 tbsp Soy sauce (shoyu), low sodium black pepper to taste16 NaSoya Won Ton Wrappers (120g) chopped fresh cilantro or green onions for garnish
Directions
Gather the ingredients.

In a large mixing bowl, gently combine ground beef, onion, cabbage, tofu, and noodles.

In a separate small bowl, combine garlic, sesame oil, soy sauce, and pepper.

Pour seasoning mixture over meat and vegetables and mix with hands to combine.

Place about 1 tablespoon of filling in the center of dumpling wrapper.

Dip your finger in water and wet the perimeter of half of the wrapper.

Fold the wrapper in half, pressing to seal and then crimp the edges.(Or use a dumpling press.) Repeat until the filling is gone.

Steam or boil until done. Garnish with chopped fresh cilantro or green onion.

Serve with basic dipping sauce or a spicy sauce like Thai sweet chili sauce, spicy garlic oil or Tabasco.
