Maple Butter Acorn Squash

Ingredients
4.0 tbsp Butter, salted, divided2.0 squash (4 inch dia) Squash, winter, acorn, raw4.0 tbsp Maple Grove Farms 100% Pure Maple Syrup, dividedSalt
Directions
Remove squash stem, cut each squash in half, remove seeds, slice small strip off outer edge to provide flat edge so each half will be stable on baking sheet. Place open side up on foil lined baking sheet and sprinkle with salt. Bake 15 mins at 425. Then place 1 T butter and drizzle 1 T syrup in each squash half. Continue baking another 25 to 35 minutes, basting the tops with a pastry brush every 10 mins or so, until squash is fork tender and a few brown spots are visible. Remove, let stand a few minutes, enjoy. Serving Size: 1/2 of one squash
