Garlic Lovers Chicken Broccoli and Ziti
- Number of Servings: 4
Ingredients
Directions
*Boneless, skinless Chicken Breast (4 breasts, cut into 1 inch cubes)*Barilla Mezzi Rigatoni (4 servings)*Olive Oil (4 tbsp)*Broccoli (1 regular size frozen bag)*minced garlic (1 tbsp)*Garlic Powder (to taste)*Ground Black pepper (to taste)*Grated parmesean cheese (1 tsp)... if desired
*Heat pan on medium low with olive oil and minced garlic. Once its starts to turn a slightly
darker shade of brown, add in cubed chicken breast.
*Meanwhile, heat large pan with water for pasta, and begin to steam broccoli. In bottom of pan to steam broccolli, add a small amount of water, a tsp of margarine, and some garlic powder. Put frozen broccoli in steamer section with a little more garlic powder.
*Go back to chicken, add some garlic powder and black pepper to taste, turn chicken over to keep from burning.
*Once water is boiling, add pasta. Cook as instructed on box. When pasta is done, drain excess water and put back in pot. When broccoli has been cooked, (a little over cooked so is almost mushy), add to pasta.
*When chicken is done, add to pot. The chicken should've generated a thin "juice" in pan if covered the whole time.
*Mix all together. Add grated cheese and maybe some extra garlic powder if you fancy it that much. Salt and pepper to taste.
**ENJOY!!**
