Lite n Fresh Apple Pie

4 cups fresh thinly sliced Granny Smith apples2 frozen rolled pie crusts2/3 cup Splenda for baking1/3 cup Brown Sugar1/4 cup Flour1 1/2 tsp cornstarch3/4 tsp ground cinnamon1/4 tsp allspice1/4 tsp ground gingerdash of nutmeg
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Set out pie crusts to thaw about 20 minutes before prep time.
Peel & thinly slice apples & set aside in a large bowl. Mix all dry ingredients togther in a mixing bowl then pour over apples & mix throughly until well coated.
Take a 9 inch glass pie plate & place one pie crust on the bottom. Pour in coated apples, mounding them up in the middle. Place 2nd crust on top. Make a few vents in the top crust & brush a tiny bit of milk or cream on top of the top crust.
Bake for about 45 minutes to 1 hour. If the crust starts to darken too quickly, decrease temperture to 375 until done. Let cool a bit before slicing. Serves about 8.
