Ingredients
12 oz Turkey: Ground, 85% Lean Ground 7 oz Pasta, Lasagna Noodles 1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions, raw 0.6 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil 175 grams Zucchini 2 cup Spaghetti/Marinara Sauce (tomato sauce) 2 medium Egg, fresh, whole, raw 2 fl oz Milk, canned, evaporated 7 oz Mozzarella Cheese, part skim milk 1 serving Italian (Herbs) Seasoning (oregano, rosemary, parsley, etc) (by QUAYBIRD) 1 tsp Salt Pam Olive Oil cooking Spray
Directions
Cook Lasagna Noodles in salted water for 5 mins. Chop onion, saute with olive oil for 4-5 mins, until translucent. Add ground turkey and season with Italian seasoning and salt. Allow to brown, then add tomato sauce, allow to cook together for 5 mins. Chop zucchini and sprinkle sea salt, black pepper and a little Italian seasoning spray with cooking spray and broil for 8 minutes. Whisk evaporated milk with eggs, set aside Spray baking dish, layer like this: Meat sauce Noodles Meat Sauce Zucchini Mozzarella Cheese Egg/milk mixture Noodles Meat Sauce Cheese Cover with foil and bake for 30 mins at 375 degrees, uncover and continue baking until cheese begins to brown (approx 12-15mins). Allow to cool, serve Serving Size: makes 10 pieces, approximately 2inches each
