Ingredients
1 jar (16 oz) Classico Sun-Dried Tomato Alredo Sauce1.5 - 2 lbs Chicken Breast Tenderloins, Boneless, Skinless,.25 cup, chopped Onions, raw, or frozen 0.5 cup chopped Green Peppers (bell peppers) fresh or frozen2 tsp Garlic (fresh or from jar of chopped garlic)
Directions
1) Sear chicken to prepare for Slow Cooker. -
Spray frying pan with non-fat cooking spray, such as Pam. Add 2 tsp (or more to taste) of garlic, stir around a bit. Add boneless chicken tenders, sprinke with salt and pepper. Sear chicken tenders on one side, turn over, sprinkle salt and pepper on other side. (Don't fully cook the chicken, just the outside to keep chicken firm will slow cooking)

2) While searing chicken, turn slow cooker on HIGH. Add .25 cup (or more if you like) chopped onion, .5 cup of chopped green (bell) pepper (no more than that, you don't want the green pepper to over-power the other flavors.) Open and pour in the jar of Classico Sun-Dried Tomato Alfredo Sauce.

3) When chicken is seared -- add to crock pot. Place lid on top, turn heat to low and cook for at least 5 hours.

4) Serve over penne noodles, spaghetti, rice or steamed vegetables. (remember to add this to your calorie intake separately)

Not bad for flavour. I added mushrooms to it and am looking forward to trying this with different sauces. - 5/20/07
