This was a very tasty meat loaf. My husband loved it and we add salsa to it which gave it a little kick. - 10/12/10

This is a keeper.I cooked without the sausages, I did add a little ground sage. I made it into 2 smaller loaves and one is in the freezer. Next time i will do 1 loaf and meatballs. A good allround recipe though, thanks for sharing - 1/28/10

We love this recipe, thanks for sharing! Mrs. Dash is a great idea. I experimented a bit for different loaves: 1) home-made BBQ sauce 2) Italian seasoning 3) all turkey, no sausage 4) spicy sausage 5) applesauce instead of egg. Tto go full-on vegan, use beans (lentils, chick peas, black beans etc). - 1/22/15

This was wonderful, we baked acorn squash and had a green bean/ artichoke casserole with it. We cut out the "topping" of ketchup but left it in the mix. This cut the calories and sugar. - 8/1/13

This was great! I used rolled oats instead of bread crumbs as I don't eat wheat. It turned out great! - 6/23/12

Love this meat loaf..better than my mom's. My picky eaters eat all up..I added green bell pepper, and red bell pepper and didn't use the sausage because we don't eat pork. - 1/12/12

Really yummy! Even my boyfriend, who "hates" "diet food," loved it... the only thing is that we couldn't find low fat breakfast sausage. I wonder if turkey sausage would work. We used regular pork sausage and poured off the grease, but I'm sure it upped the calories. - 12/17/09

Made it with the substitution of Egg Beaters for the egg and non-stick spray for the oil. Also instead of bread crumbs, I crushed up Special K cereal. Not sure how many calories this takes away but it sure is yummy. - 3/12/09
