Ingredients
Directions
1.5 cup 365 Organic Quinoa (uncooked)33.8 oz Almond Milk, vanilla, sweetened 1 cup, packed Raisins 0.25 cup Ground Almonds 4 tsp Silan (100% pure date syrup)
1. Pour the quinoa into a pot with a lid. Toast the quinoa on medium-high heat in the pot, stirring frequently.
(you'll know when they're toasted when the quinoa becomes fragrant and the seeds begin to pop up)
2. Add three cups of the almond milk (i do this one at a time), the raisins, and the ground almonds to the pot. Bring to a boil.
3. Once boiling, cover the pot and reduce to a simmer.
Let cook for 20ish minutes.
4. Once cooked, pour in remaining almond milk and heat.
Stir in silan, and heat until mix begins to bubble.
(the bubble pops may come up brown. do not be alarmed, this is just the silan heating)
5. Once finished, transfer to a container and cool, then store in the fridge.
Can be prepared ahead of time and kept up to 5 days
Serving Size: Makes 4 1-cup servings
