Stuffed Angel food cake

Ingredients
Take one Angel food cake either store-bought or baked in your oven. Slice off a 1 inch slice across the top. Hollow out a trench making sure not to take out too much. Approx. 1/2 inch deep into the cake leaving shell intact. Take 16 oz of canned peaches or any fruit, drained and fold into 8oz container of Cool Whip lite. Stuff all in the trench and replace top slice. Use the other half of whipped topping to frost and freeze for about 15-20 min. Slice and serve Refrigerate leftovers.

    My brother-in-law is a diabeitic I bought some frozen mixed berries but some splenda and mixed w/suger free cool whip put in the trench then used the rest on the out side , this is a keeper. very easy, very good - 3/24/09

    I just realized that I never reviewed this. Its been a while since I made it but I remember it was a hit. I think that I doubled the filling and used fresh blackberries instead. - 12/28/08
