40 oz (2.5 lbs) 80/20 ground beef chuck 1 cup, chopped Onions, raw 3 tsp Garlic - minced3.5 cup (14.5 oz can) HEB Diced Tomatoes for Chili 2 Wyler's Beef Cubes 1 TBSP Avocado Oil 1/4 tsp paprika1/4 tsp cumin1/2 TBSP OreganoSalt to tastePepper to taste
1. Heat the avocado oil in the pan and add in the onions and cook on a medium-low heat for about 5-7 minutes till the onion has softened and is starting to get some color.
2. Add in the garlic and cook till golden brown.
3. Then add the ground beef and cook for 5 minutes constantly stirring and breaking up any lumps that form.
4. Season with the salt, pepper, paprika, cumin and oregano.
5. Cook the beef with the spices for about a minute and then add in the Diced Tomatoes
6. dissolve the beef stock cubes in 2 cups of hot water and add to chili.
7. Cover and cook for 20-25 minutes. Even 5 minutes just open the lid, give everything a good mix and keep coking.
After 25 minutes the chili is ready.
