Step 1:2 tablespoons olive oil4 cloves garlic, minced4 Tbsps. minced shallot (or red onion)1 pound ground beefStep 2:1/2 small head cabbage, chopped1 red bell pepper, cut into strips8 ounces of fresh mushroomsStep 3:4 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce1 teaspoon cornstarch1/2 cup water2 tablespoons ground black pepper
Step 1:
Heat a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat and add oil. Sauté garlic and shallot (red onion) for about a minute, then add ground beef. Stir-fry until beef is evenly brown.
Step 2:
Stir in cabbage, red pepper, onion, and mushrooms. Cook until vegetables are tender, and beef is fully cooked.
Step 3:
Stir in soy sauce. Mix together cornstarch and water and stir in. Add pepper and mix well. Stir while continuing to cook until sauce has thickened.
