3/4 cup dry lentils3/4 cup uncooked brown rice4 cups water4 boullion cubes (I used 3 beef and 1 chipolte)2 teaspoons chili powder 1/2 teaspoon cumin1 teaspoon onion powder1/4 teaspoon garlic powderI put all this in the crock pot and cook on low for 6 hours or on high for 3 hours

BRIGHTBEGINNING
It was a little to mushy though ..i put in on high for 3 hours. But I will definitely make again!! Didn't have boullion cubs so i used chicken Knorr I also added a chipotle cube. The taste was GREAT!!! Gotta keep on eye on it...so that it wont be as mushy!! Thanks for sharing this recipe!! - 3/12/09
