Ingredients
Directions
30 gram(s) Balderson 3 Year Old Heritage Cheddar Cheese 25 grams Onions, raw 7 grams Butter, salted 3 oz Ground beef 1 serving Brioche Buns
Weight 3 oz of ground beef, in this recipe I used regular ground.
Slice the onions thin.
Split and butter the buns.
Slice the cheese.
Form the beef into a loose ball. If you like you can put the beef between two pieces of parchment paper and use a pot with a 8 or 10 inch diameter bottom, squash the burger really flat. Salt and pepper on side of the patty.
Place a large fry pan or griddle on the stove and heat over medium heat. Toast the bun top and bottom until golden brown and set aside.
Add the beef paddy to the pan and top with onions, cook until the edges of the paddy are brown. Flip the burger and onions so that the onions are on the bottom, place cheese on top and then top of the bun and cook until the cheese melts.
Spread condiments on the lower bun, mustard is best, if you want a salad have one on the side.
As soon as the cheese has melted and the onions have started to cook, remove burger from pan onto bottom bun and enjoy.
Very easy to make, tastes great.
