Best Ever Waffles

Ingredients
2 c. whole wheat flour1/2 tsp salt1/4 c. sugar1 Tbsp baking powder1 1/2 c. milk2 eggs4 Tbsp (1/2 stick) Butter
Directions
Melt butter and set aside to cool.
Combine dry ingredients.
Mix together milk and eggs. Mix in butter and vanilla.
Combine wet and dry ingredients. If too thick add a little more milk.
Cook with waffle iron until done.

** For fluffier waffles separate eggs and whites, and beat whites to stiff peaks. Fold whites into mixture just before cooking.
