Ingredients
1C TVP(Reconstituted with 1c boiling water)1 t Chili powder1t Grpund Cumin 1 t Garlic powder3T Soy Sauce2t Olive Oil1/2 c Onions, chopped 1/4c Banana Peppers, Chopped1T. minced garlic
Directions
Saute' onion and garlic in olive oil until soft, add peppers, saute' 2 minutes. Add TVP and stir. Add soy sauce and spices. Simmer until all ingredients are well blended.

Serve in taco shells or soft tortillas. Add shredded cabbage, tomatoes refried beans, cheese, sour cream to desire.( calories for these items are not added)

    I substitute (tvp)health food store soy protein for grocery store ground turkey or meatless ground burger. They both work lovely. - 8/13/08
