Ingredients
Oriental Salad/Slaw2 pkgs. cole slaw salad mix1-2 bunches of green onions-chopped1-2 pkgs. edamame, frozen, shelled-defrosted1-2 pkgs. shaved carrots (or several whole carrots shaved) mix together and set asideSauté the following:½ stick of butter (can substitute 2 Tbl. Olive oil)2 pkgs. Oriental Ramen noodles-broken up1/3 cup sesame seeds1/3 cup sunflower seeds1/3 cup slivered almondsDressing:¼ cup white vinegar½ cup vegetable oil 2 seasoning packets from the Ramen½ tsp. oregano¼ tsp. pepper2 tsp. low sodium soy sauce¼ cup sugar (can substitute Splenda for cooking)Whisk together and set aside.Mix all together and serve. You can add chicken: Marinate in teriyaki sauce, sauté- let cool and chop into bite size pieces and mix in. Another easy and low fat addition is pre-grilled chicken from the deli aisle. Mix and enjoy!
