Turkey Empanadas

Ingredients
1 pound ground turkey1 lge onion diced finely1 cup of V-82 tsp seasoning1 egg beaten1/2 C cheddar cheeseBiscuit=2 C. flour3 tsp baking powder6 T Crisco shortening 1/2 C 2% milk1 tsp salt
Directions
Saute turkey and onion in skillet until browned.
Drain off fat.
Add V-8 and seasoning
Simmer until almost dry, stirring occasionally.
Add cheese and mix well.

Make biscuit dough
sift together flour , salt and baking powder in a bowl.
cut shortening into bowl so that it looks like small crumbs.
Add milk and mix.

Then roll out dough and cut into rounds with a cutter.

Roll rounds until about 1/4 inch thick.
Brush bottom with egg.
Add about 2Tbs of turkey mixture.
Top with another round and seal edges with tine of fork.

Bake at 450 for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
