This recipe is fabulous! I was concerned that, with just 3 cups water, the cornmeal would be a rock in the a.m. and would ruin my crock, but nope! I turned it on right before bed, and 8 hours later I awoke to find perfect, yummy cornmeal mush. Topped with yogurt, flax and maple syrup. Thanks! - 5/26/11

Great old fashioned breakfast. I would never have thought 3 cups of water and such a small amount of cornmeal would cook up so nicely. Next time I will spray the pot so it won't stick. I used Bob's stone ground corn meal. And I will make twice as much as I love "fried mush." Thanks - 10/27/19
