Banana - Buttermilk loaf

.25 c soft margarine.50 c white sugar2 ripe mashed bananas1 egg1 c. whole wheat flour1.5 c. white flour2.5 tsp baking powder1/2 tsp baking soda1 c. buttermilk
In a large bowl, beat the margarine into a creamy texture. Add sugar ( you could try splenda ) and mashed bananas. Mix well. Add the egg and continue mixing. Mix dry ingredients separately. Begin slowly incorporating the dry ingredients anlernating with little amounts of buttermilk until all indredients are commbined. Pour into greased and floured 9 cx 5 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for approx. 60 min. or until toothpick comes out clean in the middle.
