Chris's 100% Whole Wheat Bread

Ingredients
3 Cups 100% Whole Wheat Flour1 Pkg. Active Dry Yeast1/8 tsp. Baking Soda1 Cup Milk1/4 Cup Water1/2 Tbsp. Splenda1/2 tsp. Salt
Directions
Mix flour, yeast and baking soda.

Mix in warmed milk, water. sugar and salt.

Combine and let rise for 50 min.

Put into greased loaf pan with sprinkled flour on sides.

Bake for 25 min. at 400 degrees.

    I agree, this is dense but good. I made it, but would probably not again without further directions - for instance pan size used, if you ever thought of allowing the bread to do a 2nd rise to the top of pan before baking, etc? - 2/2/15

    It was good. I hoped it would rise in my bread machine, but it didn't do much rising and came out a little dense. The taste wasn't bad at all. - 3/22/07
