Ingredients
1 c. water chestnuts-2 c. bean sprouts-2 c. onions-2 c. celery-2 c. fresh mushrooms- 1/2 lb. lean pork-2 c. beef broth-1/4 c. soysauce-1/2 c. cornstarch-4Tbs canola oil
Directions
Slice pork in thin strips. Slice onions,mushrooms & celery. In 2 tbs. oil, saute pork till no longer pink. Remove from skillet. Add remaining 2Tbs. oil and saute mushrooms,celery & onions till crisp-tender. Add bean sprouts and water chestnuts. Mix broth, soysauce,& cornstarch. Add to skillet, bring to boil, reduce heat and stir until thickened. Makes 12 cups. Chicken, beef, or shrimp may be substituted for pork. Serve over chinese noodles or boiled rice.
