Peppers and Pesto

Ingredients
Italian Sausage, 1 roll (8oz)Green Pepper, 1 large, cut in strips Red Pepper, sweet, 1 large, cut in stripsYellow Peppers, 1 large, cut in strips Onion, 1 large, slicedExtra Virgin Olive Oil, 4 tbsp Whole Wheat Spaghetti, cooked (pasta), 1 boxBasil, 10 leaves Garlic, 3 cloves roughly choppedParmesan Cheese, grated, 1 cup
Directions
Prepare pan to cook pasta. Cook according to directions on box.

Brown italian sausage, drain. While the sausage is cooking, slice peppers and onion into thin sstrips. Put in a skillet with the italian sausage and sautee over medium heat. Chop basil and garlic. Add to skillet. After everything is sauteed nicely, add 3/4 cups of parmesean cheese (reserve remaining cheese for garnish). Mix well. Serve over pasta.
