Ingredients
Directions
1 lb shrimp (cleaned and deveined)Juice of 2 limes1/2 tsp chili powder1 tbsp canola oil (less if desired)1 tsp honeySalt and PepperOptional: Cayenne pepper (If you want spicier shrimp!)
Mix all ingredients but shrimp in medium to large bowl.
Add shrimp, stir to coat and marinate for 5-10 minutes. Due to the high acidity of the marinade, you don't want to marinate it too long or the acid in the lime juice will cook the shrimp.
Preheat a large skillet or pan on medium heat. Add the shrimp and cook for 3-5 minutes on the first side, or until they are mostly opaque. Flip and cook another 1-3 minutes.
Enjoy! Makes enough for 4 people.
Note: It's not necessary to peel the shells off the shrimp before marinating/cooking. I didn't and they still tasted awesome (I think the shell adds a little extra flavor when cooking).
