Sicilian Lentil Soup with Pasta

Ingredients
Celery is 0.5 c diced and 0.25 c celery leavesBay leaf is one leaf
Directions
Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add onion, celery, carrots, celery leaves, and garlic. Cook, stirring frequently, 5 minutes.
Add remaining ingredients, except pasta. Bring mixture to a boil, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer 40 mintes or until vegetables are tender. Stir in pasta and continue to cook, covered, 10 minutes more. Remove and discard bay leaf before serving.
