Jam-Jam Cookies

Ingredients
2 eggs1 cup brown sugar1 cup shortening6 tbsp corn syrup2 tsp baking soda1 tsp vanilla3 cups flourjam or icing (not listed in ingredients)
Directions
1. Blend sugar & shortening together.
2. Add syrup, eggs & vanilla. Mix well.
3. Add baking soda & flour.
4. Roll dough out & cut into strips or simple shapes.
5. Bake at 375•F for 8-10 minutes
6. Immediately after cookies are out of the oven, spread jam or icing (not listed in ingredients) on 1 side of the cookies & put together (like Oreos).

Makes 2-3 dozen cookies
