CHIKINALLAHKING (Chicken a la King)

Ingredients
1/4 cup margarine1/2 cup flour1/2 tsp salt1 cup milk1 cup chicken broth2 cups leftover roast chicken, cubed
Directions
Melt margarine in medium saucepan. Add flour and salt. Stir. Add milk and chicken broth all at once. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture is thick and bubbly. Stir in chicken (and mushrooms and pimentos if using). Heat through and serve with rice, pasta or on toast points.

    I make something similar. cubed chicken , diced onions, peas and celery. saute in frying pan add cream of chicken low fat soup and eat over toast or noodles - 9/28/08
