Jill's Breakfast Cranberry Cookies

Ingredients
1/3 cup butter1/3 cup applesauce1/3 cup brown sugar packed1/3 cup Twin sugar--granulated brown2 tbs. ground Flax seed6 tbs. water1 1/2 cups whole oats1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour1 tsp baking soda1/2 tsp salt1 1/3 cup sweetened dried cranberries1/2 cup chopped nuts
Directions
Heat oven to 375. Combine all ingredients. I use a large ice cream scoop and it yields 7 cookies. You can make them smaller if you like.
Bake for 12 or so minutes; the time will vary depending on the size of the cookie.
