Ingredients: Beef chuck, 16 oz (remove)Parsnips, 1 parsnip (9" long) (remove)Turnips, 1 medium (remove)Celery, raw, 4 stalk, medium (7-1/2" - 8" long) (remove)Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped (remove)Carrots, raw, 4 large (7-1/4" to 8-1/2" long) (remove)Garlic, 4 tsp (remove)Barley, pearled, cooked, .75 cup (remove)Red Ripe Tomatoes, 3 large whole (3" dia) (remove)Beef broth, bouillon, consomme, 8 cup (remove)
Brown meat with onion, celery, and garlic.
Chop vegatables in cubes and add to meat, with the beef broth.
Add 3 bay leafs, salt & pepper, and any other seasonings you like.
