Swiss chicken divan

Ingredients
2 chicken breast2 cup chicken broth1/4 cup flour2 tbsp margarine8 oz mushrooms1 bunch broccoli1 tsp celery saltpepper to taste
Directions
pre-cook chicken breast in water for 10 minutes. Save broth. Cut chicken into bite size pieces. Pre- cook the broccoli, it should be firm.
Melt margarine add mushrooms , saute a few minutes. Add flour. Slowly add the chicken broth) may use bouillon) Pimento's are added but optional. Stir constanly until thickened. Add grated cheese. 13X9 pan sprayed with Pam , layer cooked broccoli in bottom , add chicken on top. Top with mushroom cheese mixture. Bake 350 for 30 minutes. Serves 4

    This is an excellent recipe. I used broccoli slaw in the found in the produce section, in place of the whole broccoli, which didn't need to be pre-cooked. Loved it!!! Thanks - 10/8/08

    This is almost like the recipe i make called chicken o riley but you make that with 1 cup of hellmans 1 cup milk and a whole block of sharp cheddar and 2 cans cream of mushroom soup. So imagine my supprise when i tried this healthy one and its absolutly delish and better for you .Thank you Ashley - 1/12/09

    I see in the directions it says to add grated cheese, but it's not listed in the ingredients. I'm guessing Swiss because of the title, but how much? OOps nver mind, I figured out where to click for full info on ingredients. New to the site, sorry! - 10/1/08
