Whole Grain/ Low fat Chocolate chip oatmeal cookies

1/2 c unsweetened applesauce1/2c Smart Balance buttery spread1 cup brown sugar1/2c sugar2 large eggs1 tsp vanilla extract1 1/2 c whole wheat flour1 tsp baking soda1 tsp cinnamon1/2 tsp salt3 c Quaker Old Fahioned Oats1 c semi-sweet chocolate chips
preheat oven to 350. Beat together Smart Balance and apple sauce with the sugars. Add in eggs and vanill extract. Sift together flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Add flour mixture to sugar mixture and mix until just combined. Add in oats and chocolate chips. Drop by Tablespoons onto cookie sheets.
Bake for 10-12 minutes. Let cool for 1 minute before removing to a cooling rack.
