6 cups of cored, peeled apples (Empire)1 tablespoon Country Crock Light1/4 teaspoon Allspice1 tablespoon of Cinnamon1 teaspoon nutmeg3 tablespoons of brown sugar
Peel apples, and cut into halves, core and slice. Heat skillet with country crock until it has melted. Add apples slices, sprinkle cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg, and brown sugar. Stir ingredients and lower heat and let simmer for 25-30 minutes. Apples will breakdown and turn to an applesauce consistency. You can play with your sugar and spice variations.
