Slow Cooker Asian Short Ribs

Ingredients
1/2 cup soy sauce1/3 c brown sugar1/4 c rice vinegar2 cloves garlictbs fresh ginger1/2 tsp crushed red pepper8 beef short ribs or 4 lbs4 medium carrots1 small head cabbage, green2 tbs cornstarch1 tbs sesame oil4 scallions
Directions
Mix everything in slow cooker, up thru ribs.
Cook on high 5-6 hours.
Transfer cabbage, ribs, carrots to plates.
Skim fat from cooking liquid.
Whisk together cornstarch and water, then add to cooking liquid and stir to thicken. Stir in sesame oil. Spoon sauce over ribs and veggies and top with scallions.
