A twist on traditional French Toast

Ingredients
4 slices of whole wheat bread3 eggs1 medium apple1 tsp ground cinnamon1 tsp allspice
Directions
In a medium to large bowl mix together: 3 eggs, cinnamon and allspice. Set aside. Take your apple of your choice and slice it somewhat thin, to where you have large rounds of apple.

Spray your skillet with a non-stick spray. Take your slices of bread, one at a time, and dip into the egg mixture. Fully coat each side of the bread. Place one slice apple on the skillet, and place the bread ontop of the apple slice. Then place another slice of apple ontop of the bread slice, so that there are two slices per slice of bread.

Cook each slice of bread thouroughly by flipping it occasionally. Be careful, as to when you flip your bread, the apple may not stick.

When cooked, place on a plate and dust with powdered sugar if desired. Not needed since there is cinnamon and allspice in the batter. ENJOY! :)
