Very good. Hubbie and kids all enjoyed this. Used fresh pineapple instead of tidbits from can. Also substituted splenda blend for brown sugar. - 12/4/11

Very Good! I did add 1 T. Dijon mustard. We believe it would be even better with pork chops. - 12/1/10

Loved it & hubby did too. Used pineapple chunks & didn't add juice from the can. Simmered both sides of the ham slice in the butter/brown sugar mix, then moved it to the side of the pan & finished by simmering the pineapple chunks in the sauce. Definitely will make again. - 7/12/10

I bought a brown sugar ham steak and cooked in pineapple juice with no butter. For pineapple juice, I used the water the canned pineapple was in. The pineapple is delicious cooked! Cuts the cal's, carbs, and fat! - 9/10/09

Going to give this a try tonight. My hamsteaks always come out dry. I think this should take care of that. - 7/28/09

Delicious!! I thought this was wonderful and my boyfriend really enjoyed it. He didn't taste the pineapple/brownsugar as much as I did. Next time I'll add more on his. I didn't use butter and grilled it instead (less calories) AWESOME! Thanks for the great dinner! - 5/14/09

My dad was starting to get sick of the hamsteaks and this cured him of it. I can't believe my sisters and I didn't think of it on our own, but we're glad you did. It took the saltiness right out and replaced it with savory and sweet goodness. - 2/25/09

Trying this one tonight! I was looking for a new way to cook the ham so DH won't complain about having to eat it. Thanks - 3/14/07
