YUM!!! This is easy to make and tastes great. I made the base recipe, and then added some roasted red peppers - even better. I will definitely be making this again~! - 1/24/09

I use this recipe, too, but I only use 1.5 Tblsp Tahini, I leave out the olive oil to decrease the fat even more and I've been using the chickpea juice from the can...but I might try it with water instead. - 10/15/08

I have always used this recipe, and it is really great. If this is not a regular hummus ... what is? When my fiancée was in the Saudi Arabia, this is how they made it. Is the difference less olive oil? - 3/18/10

It is wonderful! I added about 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper. Think I will add salsa or olives or ginger or roasted red pepper as others have suggested. - 8/4/09

Aside from the lemon flavor being just a tad too strong for my liking, it's delicious!! Thank you for posting it! - 5/11/09

Really good. Tastes a lot like the hummus I order at our local Greek restaurant. If you're not a garlic lover, you'll want to cut back a bit on the cloves. But perfect for me! Thanks. - 5/30/10

Great combo! I reduce the lemon juice to 2 T and add 1/2 tsp of cumin. Sometimes I will add 1 tsp of soy sauce rather than the salt. The tahini is a must! don't skip it. - 12/21/09

The dip tastes OK, but nothing like hummus. I followed the instructions exactly and was really displeased with the results. Maybe if I didn't go into it expecting hummus it would be better. I'd rather "splurge" on regular hummus and fit it into my cals for the day This left a weird taste in my mouth - 5/17/09

It was very easy and quick to make. I felt it was a bit too lemon tasting, so next time I'll cut back on the amount of lemon juice I use. Thanks for the recipe. I love that it's so much more low cal than store bought hummus. - 5/8/09

I didn't have tahini but I added sesame seeds, paprika and some juice from the can. It was delicious! I just had this amazing hummus on some crackers but I can't wait to put it on my sandwhich tomorrow. Thanks for sharing! - 10/17/08
