Turkey Kielbasa with Cabbage

Ingredients
Trader Joes Turkey Kielbasa, 12 ozCabbage, fresh, 1 head, small (about 4-1/2" dia)Apples, fresh, 1 small (2-1/2" dia) (approx 4 per lbCollege InnĀ® Light & Fat Free Chicken Broth 50% Less Sodium, .75 cupCider Vinegar, 2 tbspBrown Sugar, 6 tsp unpackedCountry Crock, Shedd's Spread Country Crock Light (Soft), 1 Tbsp, 1 servingOnions, raw, .33 cup, chopped
Directions
Melt butter/margarine in 12" skillet, saute onion until soft.

cut cabbage into 12 wedges, cutting off the base. Add to onion mixture. Mix together broth, vinegar and brown sugar, add to skillet, bring to boil, then reduce heat & simmer for 15 minutes.

Cut kielbasa into 1/2" rounds, core apple and cut into wedges. Add to cabbage mixture, bring to boil, they reduce heat and sover for 10 minutes.

Use slotted spoon to drain off liquid when serving.

    Delicious Recipe. I add 2 diced celery sticks with the cabbage and about 1/4 cup of marsala wine and it's outstanding. Be sure to have a little brown mustard to dip the Kielbasa in. (A nice Octoberfest beer makes a great addition!) - 11/17/08
