Spread 1tbs ketchup on pitta, dry fry bacon strips until cooked,(put aside) heat oil in pan ,add onions fry until soft ,add peppers, musrooms,tomatoes and oregano,simmer for 5 mins add bacon simmer for another 5 mins then set aside to cool a little,(this topping can be made the night before), spread topping on pitta place cheese slices on top add parmesan and another pinch of oregano. (I use canned tomatoes when making large quantioties for parties)
Place on a baking sheet and place in centre of a moderate hot oven for 15 mins until the cheese has melted and browned to personal liking. Divide in 4..(serves 2)
