sneaky snake pinwheels

Ingredients
2 squares (7 1/4 x 8 3/4 inch) flat bread or 3 8inch flour tortillas1 3 ounce package softened cream cheesehalf medium red bell pepper- chopped (1/4 cup)24 thin slices Genoa salamiHalf large dill pickle sliced into 4 spears2 small red bell pepper slices cut into snake-like tongues
Directions
1. Spread flat bread with half the cream cheese to
within 1 inch from the edge. Sprinkle with
chopped bell pepper.

2. Top each with 2 leaves of Romaine lettuce and
12 pieces of slami, leaving 1 inch border on
both long slices of each. Place 2 pickle spears
lengthwise end to end on each flat bread

3. Wrap the flat bread rolls individually in plastic
wrap and refrigerate at least one hour but not
more than 24. With serrated knife, cut into
1 inch slices, secure with toothpicks. Arrange
on a large platter in a twisty snake-like shape.
Arrange a front piece at an angle slightly away
from the body to look like a head. Place 1 red
pepper piece on the underside of the pinwheel
to look like a tongue. Arrange rear piece at an
angle for the rear of the snake
