I have no kids - but I LOVE this cookbook. I've been experimenting with the various recipes. This time, I subbed in apple sauce for oil, sweet potatoe puree for cauliflower and added in pumpkin pie spice (1 tsp) with the cinnamon. SO GOOD and perfect for fall. - 10/5/11

I use Almond extract insetad of vanilla, and I love all purpose white rice flour and almond flour instead. I also add some chocolate chips for a desert treat. My whole family loves it. I add extra cin and its so much better. I'm going to try the applesause and sweetpotato next! <3 - 7/20/12

Mine came out pudding-like in the center even after cooking for 60 mins at 350; Used the 2 egg whites and followed everything else to the letter. I MAY have had a about 1/8 cup more of banana puree than needed. But would that matter so much? - 3/2/12

I love this recipe...however I still can't get used to the "whole wheat" flavour so next time I'll stick to just white and gradually add a bit more whole wheat every time I bake it. - 1/19/09
